Bank Holiday Parking

I can’t believe we’re at the end of April already, where has the month gone! At least we’ve been having some warmer spring weather over the last few weeks although I’m not sure how much longer it will last having just seen the weather forecast.

By the end of this week we’ll be in May so there’ll be two Bank Holidays which I’m sure most of you are looking forward to. The roads and car parks are always busy on bank holidays and in most cases there are no exceptions to car parking charges or parking restrictions on these days and they remain the same as they would be on any other day. If there are exceptions, these will be clearly signposted so please check the signs before parking as finding you’ve been issued with a Penalty Charge Notice for parking illegally when you return to your vehicle after a lovely day out is not what I imagine any of you want. Please remember that parking restrictions exist and are enforced for a reason – to help keep our roads and car parks safe and congestion free which is what we all want.
