This week the Aviva Women’s Bike Tour is taking place in the region and on Thursday the second stage of it is taking place in north Essex! It will start at 10.00am in the Market Place in Braintree and ends at about 2.00pm in Marine Parade, Clacton-on-Sea. With this exciting event coming to the area, I suspect the roads will be busier that day and there will be some temporary changes to parking.
Whilst the NEPP isn’t involved in any of the traffic management or parking changes that are taking place for this event (these are being managed and co-ordinated by the individual local authorities involved along the route) I wanted to make sure you’re all aware of the event on Thursday and that journeys and parking may be affected as a result.
If you’re planning to be a spectator, live and/or work in Braintree or Clacton and are interested in finding out more about the parking, local information is available on Braintree and Tendring District Council’s websites.
