What a wet start to the week – anyone would think summer was over! Fortunately it looks like the sunshine will be returning towards the end of the week, which is great news for the Bank Holiday weekend and events taking place.
One of the big events taking place in north Essex this week is the Clacton Air Show which is being held on Thursday and Friday. If you’re thinking of heading to this event or live or work in the area, please familiarise yourself with some of the temporary traffic regulation orders which will be in force. Cones and signage explaining the temporary changes will be in place and residents in the roads that will be affected will have already received letters from Tendring District Council advising them of these. Information about the event itself and car parking facilities are available on Tendring District Council’s website here.
Alternatively if you’re heading elsewhere in your car over the Bank Holiday, please make sure you check the parking restrictions as these can often change on a Bank Holiday. More information about bank holiday parking can be found in two of my previous posts which I’ve listed below.
Enjoy the rest of your week and fingers crossed we’ll get some sunnier weather soon!
