Double, double toil and trouble!

As it’s Halloween on Saturday and this week’s blog post is about a parking restriction which those of us who work in parking call a ‘double, double’, I couldn’t resist the heading!

For those of you who don’t know what a ‘double, double’ parking restriction is, it’s where there are double yellow lines on the highway and double kerb markings adjacent to one another (as shown in the photo below)

Adjacent to these markings there will be a white plate sign saying ‘No loading at any time’.No loading at any time plate

This restriction means that no one (including Blue Badge Holders) can park there and waiting and loading/unloading is not permitted at any time.

So to avoid trouble, please don’t park on a double, double!
